Young Social innovator – Bird boxes installed in Crúachán woods

YSI students left the school eagerly this morning to place bird boxes in the Crúachán woods. Following months of sawing and shaping,  everything was now starting to take shape. The boxes were screwed to trees around the wood so that the birds would have easy access to them.

It is now two weeks away the final for our project and we will attend this event in the City Hall in Cork. We also got some great help from Croshaven Boys’ National school were the 1st class did some brilliant art work for our display.

Stay  tuned for more information on this interesting project.
