Transition Years go Orienteering

12 October 2012

Transition Years took to Murphy’s farm, CIT today where they undertook an orienteering challenge. The students set out with a map, a list of locations and a punch card and went off in pairs to punch twenty two boxes.

First back were Michel Laschet and Michael O’Leary, closely followed by Jack Sheehan and Brian Allen. Amy Wren and Bríd were soon in, taking third place. All three had times around the half hour mark.

The event was organised by Bishopstown Orienteering club. Big thanks to Seán Cotter for his help.
