Transition Years’ explore Seashore

TY students visited Myrtleville to examine the ecology of the seashore. Students were divided into groups and collected samples of shore life.

Transition Year students take Cork City tour

Transition Year students visited Cork city today, taking in a historical walking tour.
Students were taken through the medieval origins of the city and visited the English market in the city centre.
St. Finbarre’s Cathedral was next where students received a guided tour.
The trip ended at UCC.

Coláiste Muire, Réalt na Mara presents: Titanic 100 Exhibition. Visit the school library to view artifacts, newspaper accounts , images and models commemorating the sinking of the Titanic one hundred years ago.
View the final picture taken of the Titanic from a Crosshaven beach and learn a host of other interesting facts about the Titanic.
Not to be missed.
